Our canine friends are also entitled to their play areas in Paris: in the 5th arrondissement, near the Tino-Rossi garden, on the banks of the Seine, the first dog play area was inaugurated on May 23, 2022.
The dogs also have the right to live a dream life at Paris. Until now, the capital was not specially adapted to our four-legged friends: according to the ranking of cities where it is good to live with a dog, established by the magazine 30 million friends in its May 2022 issue, Paris is in 24th position out of 42.
If there are a few parks and gardens where our little doggies can play freely, the lack of spaces open to dogs is sorely felt by the owners.
The 5th arrondissement town hall de Paris has therefore decided to overcome this problem. This May 23, a new “canipark” opened its doors on the banks of the Seine, near the Tino Rossi garden. This playground specially designed for dogs allows animals to roam and have fun freely and safely security.
” Opening a dog park is of little interest if people don’t visit it, you have to make them want to! For this first dog park, it was the condition and I fought a lot for this place to be equipped with games. Dog owners are demanding “, Explain Florence Berthoutmayor of Ve, in the columns of Parisian.
This playground 120 m² is therefore embellished with various installations ofagility, with tunnels, posts and inclined planes. 25,000 euros have been allocated to this project to equip and vegetate this innovative space, installed near the sculpture garden.
Associations like the SPA and the animal rights, ethics and science foundation hope that this type of project will multiply in Paris in the years to come, for the well-being of the thousands of dogs living in the capital.
